15W-40 engine and transmission oil for both Ilmor and Indmar ZF transmissions. This oil  is a full synthetic and can be used in place of the blend if you choose to use a more premium oil. 

Marine engine manufactures do not manufacture their own oils. They are repackaged and relabeled by a name brand oil company. As long as you are meeting and or beating the marine manufactures minimum requirements. you are good to use a name brand oil. I use Mobile 1 and Mobile Delvac in all of the boats we service in house.

Quantity Needed:

  • 3.5 qts - ZF Transmission
  • 4.5 to 5.5 qts MPI & MV8. 
  • Run the engine that is in your boat on a hose or in the water. Turn off and let sit. Check oil level with engine off. Add or remove oil to make sure you are on the full line. Do not run boat until oil level is correct.
